Basic Policy

We will take the initiative in resolving global issues such as social and environmental challenges as outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations as common goals for the international community to achieve by 2030.
Specifically, we promote the reduction of hazardous substances, resource consumption, and waste during product development and manufacturing.
We will actively meet the expectations of our stakeholders around the world, including customers, shareholders, employees, and suppliers, through various initiatives aimed at creating a better society.

Environment

The FALTEC Group recognizes that the protection of the global environment is a challenge common to all humankind and is committed to the protection of the global environment in order to realize a sustainable society.

• In light of our business activities, we will strive to prevent water pollution, soil contamination, and air pollution as important environment protection activities, and promote the protection of the local environment.
• We will establish an environmental management system to prevent pollution and promote continuous improvement. The following are the key themes to be addressed.
  (1) Elimination of environmental pollution
  (2) CO2 reduction
  (3) Reduction of environmental pollutants
  (4) Promotion of energy and resource conservation
• We comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances related to the environment, as well as other requirements agreed upon by us on site.
• To achieve this environmental policy, we will set and review technically and economically feasible environmental objectives and targets.
• We will disseminate this environmental policy to all employees and related companies through environmental education and publicity activities.

Quality Policy and Environmental Policy

Altia has been ISO 9001:2015 certified for its quality management system and ISO 14001:2015 certified for its environmental management system.

ISO14001

The Iwaki Office has acquired environmental ISO (ISO14001) certification and is committed to reducing hazardous substances, resource consumption, and waste in its daily product development and manufacturing activities.

Talent development

We carry out newcomer education and training at the time of entry and follow-up training after entry, make young people become the company’s fighting force as soon as possible through training and education (cultivate one all-round employee in three years), urge employees to obtain public qualifications as well as industry qualifications, give employees the knowledge and literacy that their peers should normally master and possess through correspondence education, and implement in-house professional education by rank, quality, development, etc.  

Contributions to the Local Community

The Company is committed to activities that contribute to the local community.
We participate in various genres of activities such as local traffic safety activities, disaster prevention activities, factory tours for schools in the neighborhood of Iwaki City, firefighting drills, and blood donations.
